Her editor also thought that having two love scenes in such close proximity to one another would dilute them, therefore she was given a choice to either drop the final love scene in the main part of the story, one that was pivotal to Matthew’s growth, and keep the epilogue, or keep that climactic love scene and drop the epilogue. So, thank you very much Ms. Definite adults only material, not for the faint of heart. This was the ending that really made my heart soar in the way I wanted it to when I finished Sinfulbut it didn’t quite get there. I love the ultimate ending! It does so here – charlotte featherstone sinful epilogue.

Jane is blissfully happy, knowing her decision was just right for all of them. Us readers are just greedy. Jane has brought healing and wholeness to him, and all of the people who tormented him are now out of the picture in one way or another.

I love that Matthew’s heart is so much lighter now that he’s no longer tortured by his past. In her introduction to the epilogue, Charlotte Featherstone explains why it wasn’t included in the book. I posted a link in my review of the epilogue. It’s almost 30 pages: I actually liked the way Sinful ended. View all 4 comments. I’m so glad that I already knew this epilogue existed and even more grateful that I was able to get my charlotte featherstone sinful epilogue on a copy since the author has dropped out of sight for the last three years.

If it had been I probably would have given the book 5 stars. It was a complete work. It was heartwarming to read of the changes that had come about by then and if this had been included in the story as an epilogue it would have made a 5 star read into a 10 star read?
